90 - Cryptic Mosquito sites in Maricopa County

Maricopa County, located in the south-central part of the state of Arizona, had its first ever locally acquired case of Dengue in 2021. Aedes aegypti seem to thrive in this desert environment and we use several different traps to try and find the source. Trapping, along with a lot of groundwork, has led us to find a great number of cryptic breeding sites. We will discuss our findings in this presentation.
