Director ADr. Rui-De Xue has worked in the field of biology and control of mosquitoes and mosquito-borne diseases since 1981. His specialist is behavioral ecology and integrated management of vector mosquitoes and mosquito-borne diseases. He authors and coauthor of more than 350 publications and book chapters and was the past presidents of Florida Mosquito Control Association (FMCA) and Florida Entomology Society (FES), Society of Vector Ecology (SOVE) Southeastern Regional Past Director and Incoming President of the American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA). He received several outstanding /achievement awards from the FMCA, FES, SOVE, and AMCA and other organizations. He oversees the operation programs, and handled the hurricane response at AMCD and supervised many Federal, state, and industry grants and projects in the past 20 years. nastasia Mosquito Control District
