Jason has served as the public health entomologist at the Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) since 2019. During his time at WCCHD, Jason has worked to rebuild their mosquito surveillance program using limited staffing and funds. He has enjoyed this challenge and continues to grow the program each year, most recently mentoring a neighboring health department in building a mosquito surveillance program. Jason has a BS in Biology and a Masters of Public Health. Jason is active in the Texas Mosquito Control Association as a member of their board of directors and chair of the TMCA Young Professionals. Prior to his career in mosquito control, Jason has worked as a small animal veterinary assistant since 2011 and still enjoys working occasional weekend shifts
